What Actually Attracts Women?

One day, I was discussing marriage with my ex-girlfriend. She wasn't from my caste. So, jokingly, I asked her to become ultra-rich or crack UPSC or become a Class 1 officer of the Indian Government, as that would solve a lot of our problems.

Although it wasn't said on a serious note, that sentence carried a lot of truth within itself.

Love Marriage for everyone you see in that long queue in the above photograph will be very easy compared to a common man/woman. Families of their partners will have little to no problems in getting married their children to them.

In fact, if my ex was a class 1 officer, the problems that my family would have, have been reduced to 10 from 100. And, it would have been easier for us to get married.

I am trying to cover a bigger picture here.

A woman can't feed herself with the love, care and kindness that her man possesses.

A woman's mother may not get impressed by her wannabe husband because of his looks. But, if he is filthy rich, her mother surely would get impressed, maybe just even a bit.

A woman's boyfriend's confidence may not be attractive to her younger sister, but if he is a high ranked government officer, she definitely will get impressed.

A woman's partner's empathetic nature may not be able to flat out her best friend, but she will definitely be flattered if he is a renowned surgeon in the city.

Money and power are attractive to not just women, but almost everyone, irrespective of their gender and role. There definitely will be exceptions too, but such people would be the rarest of the rare.
